Setting The Table For Two
When you think setting the table, you probably don’t think of a table for two. You likely only set the table for company, special occasions, or holidays. And while we are all for take-out nights and the occasional dinner on the couch (while catching up on The Bachelor,) we also cherish the age old tradition of setting the table. For one, two, three, or thirty people, there is something special about sitting down to enjoy a meal, and doing so in style. Setting the table not only makes you feel a little more like a functional human – it also allows you to disconnect from your devices and in turn appreciate the time and the food that you are consuming. So scrounge up a tablecloth, runner, or placements, grab some napkins, cutlery, drinkware – and create that table for two more often. You will be glad that you did.
